South Carolina statistically ranks higher than most states in domestic violence cases. As a result, our legislature recently amended our domestic violence laws to provide for harsher punishments, including longer prison sentences and loss of firearm privileges.
Many people who come to me for representation in domestic violence or “DV” cases are not guilty of what they are alleged to have done. Unfortunately in some cases, one person has another person arrested to gain advantage in a divorce case, child custody case, or just out of anger.
Domestic violence cases can be emotional roller coasters for clients. If you have been charged with domestic violence and have questions, please feel free to call my office today for a free consultation.
My goal as an attorney is that when my client’s case is over is for that client to say about me,“Brady cares and he is also very good at his job.”
