Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina Brady Vannoy attended Spartanburg High School. Following high school, Brady attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. While at The Citadel, Brady served as an officer in the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and worked as an assistant to U.S. Congressman Henry Brown. Following graduation from The Citadel, Brady attended the Charleston School of Law. While attending law school, Brady served as a substitute professor at The Citadel in the Criminal Justice, English, and Political Science Departments. Brady also worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable P. Michael Duffy, U.S. District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina. Brady was also a founding member of the Charleston School of Law Honor Court.

Following his graduation from the Charleston School of Law, Brady was hired by the late DUI Champion, Reese I. Joye of the Joye Law Firm, LLP. While at the Joye Law Firm, Brady dedicated his practice to defending the rights of citizens charged with a variety of criminal offenses, specifically DUI. Brady also litigated numerous Driver's License appeals resulting from administrative suspensions involving DUI and other offenses. He has successfully participated in the defense of hundreds of DUI cases, traffic crimes, and other criminal offenses.

In addition to his civilian legal career, Brady also serves as a Judge Advocate in the South Carolina Army National Guard. In his military profession, he provides support to Soldiers and Commanders in a variety of capacities, including administrative separation actions, Uniform Code of Military Justice actions, Domestic Operations, and issues arising under the Laws of Armed Conflict.
